Dalziel Park Hotel & Golf Club

Visited on Saturday night as a group of 5, to use one of our black Friday vouchers. Booked 2 tables as we had 2 vouchers to use and was advised that this was what needed to happen to be able to use both. This was not an issue. However, we requested tables beside each other if possible and was told this would be noted on our booking. 3 of us arrived and were sat at our table, with a table of 2 spare next to us. Assumed this was for the rest of our party but after asking "the manager", I'm assuming she was, was told no this was for another party and the others would be sitting in a different area. Couldn't get our heads round what the problem was so my husband approached another server to ask the question but "manager" came rushing to over to advise that the table was being made into a table for 4. Our other party of 2 was then sat at a table for 4 and 15 mins later - a couple were then sat at the table for 2 next to us. This made absolutely no sense and did leave a bad taste in our mouths for rest of the night due to the attitude! On the plus side, food was nice and our server was absolutely LOVELY! She was so pleasant and very attentive, as were the bar staff when we moved out into that area for drinks.

Lovely hotel. Was visiting for a surprise birthday party in the hotel function room, travelled up from Manchester. Staff in hotel where all very nice, hotel was very nice and our room was lovely and clean and very spacious.. full Scottish breakfast in the morning was very nice as well.. would highly recommended this place!!

My wife and I took my mother for a meal at Dalziel Park Hotel. The venue looks great, it was dark, but inside is very nice and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was brilliant. The only complaint was my wife and mother were given a fork to eat a sundae!! Desert spoons please Dalziel Park! That aside, well worth a visit.

Booked a table for dinner with friends. The online booking system is very convenient and efficient. Have been here for dinner several times and am always very pleased with the quality of the food; the cost; the fact that you can order smaller portion sizes; the decor is warm and welcoming; parking is easy and the location and surroundings are lovely.

I recently booked a table for lunch and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service. The waiting staff were warm, attentive, and accommodating throughout our visit. The food was of a high standard and very enjoyable. If I were to note one minor drawback, it would be that the chips were slightly cooler than expected; however, this was a very small issue in an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, I was delighted with our visit and would be more than happy to return.

Absolutely amazing place, service is outstanding as well as the standard of rooms. I could easily compare this hotel to 5 star ones. Food is always well presented and delicious. Staff have always been super accommodating to us every time we visit.

Came for afternoon tea with my mum and sister in law and it was delicious. All fresh and well worth what we paid. Asked for the salmon sandwiches to be changed for something else which was done without any hassle. Happily moved our table to accommodate my baby's pram. Service was quick and staff were lovely. Will be back to try the main menu. Will be having our wedding here in 2027 so any excuse to make various visits.

We went for Dinner on a Saturday night. We received a really nice welcome and taken to our table. Our drinks came quite quickly. No waiting about. Dinner was excellent and oh so much better by the excellent service we got from Emma W. She was a credit to the restaurant. We loved our evening. We will be back.
